Here are some pictures of our newest project truck, a 1940 Ford 2½ ton cab. We are in the process of restoring it now. It will join the stable of our other 2 trucks, a 1938 Ford and a 1939 Chevrolet which are already restored and in use..
This truck was purchased using donations from sources outside the organization. We will restore this truck to military configuration. It is not an original military truck, but has german gauges and appointments. Much of the mechanical work will be performed by unit members in the Dallas area.

Looks pretty rough! Everything will be stripped and repainted, and all mechanical systems will be rebuilt for reliability. All three of the trucks our unit has are owned by the unit, and not individual members, and funds to restore vehicles are donated or acquired from unit dues. All labor for restorations is volunteer- lots of work! Keep tabs of our progress, although it will be slow going. It takes several years to completely restore a vehicle to useable condition.
