Event Site: September 17-19 2010 Camp Anderson Tactical - Battle Fee: $20 for TMHS and $10 20th Guards members, $25 for non-members.
- Barracks available: $20 per person per night, $30 weekend, breakfast in
canteen $8
- Scenario: Russian Summer Offensive of '43; Army Group South.
Event Site: *TMHS* October 8th - 10th, 38th Annual Cuero Turkeyfest
- Scenario: To be announced. Historical displays encouraged.
- Camping at fairgrounds.
From the organizers: The site where you will be camped has nice green
grass, a small grove of live oak trees, and a manicured hill (that is used as an
amphitheater) so you can get creative with that location. The hill overlooks the
grove, so you can station vehicles on it or use it for people to sit as they
watch whatever demonstration may be going on.
The site is to the left as you walk in the main gate. That walkway is paved
and bisects your campsite from the dance pavilion which is directly across from
it. So, it is on a heavily traveled path. Plus, we'll have signs posted and a
map of where everything is located.
- Parade Saturday AM, Need vehicles to transport veterans in the parade.
- Show battle Saturday and Sunday
Event Site: November 12th - 14th, Waxahachie WW2 Weekend
- Waxahachie under German Martial Law on Friday night. (All Chained Dogs and
MP's please contact Scott.)
- College Street Pub will host another Oktoberfest Friday.
- Texas Theater will show old movie reels from the wartime served with wine
and cheese on Friday Night.
- USO show as well Friday
- Lunch will be served for reenactors and vehicle owners Saturday at noon om
the square.
